I’ve been rather enjoying Wattpad. As I have commented before, it’s not beyond the realm of reason that there are more talented authors out there than the conventional publishing world could identify and promote. One of the responses to that, of course, is e-books and self-publishing, and indeed that is something I myself am trying out.
Wattpad is a different approach. You’re posting your work and making it available for free – but there’s a broad community out there, with opportunities to share, discuss, comment and obtain honest and well-meant feedback. I can say I’ve met some lovely, interesting and talented people through the site.
